Leveraging more than 30 years of sales, marketing, operations and executive experience, Les Rubenovitch leads a team of entrepreneurial business advisors who deliver a suite of services including strategic planning, retreat facilitation, keynotes, executive coaching, marketing and sales channel development.
Winning Edge is closely aligned with Gazelles, an international organization dedicated to profitably growing companies. Rubenovitch is a Gazelles Advisory Board member, the Trainer for all Gazelles coaches internationally and Coach Mentor and contributes to the ongoing development of programs and content. Winning Edge has helped many clients effectively implement the Gazelles programs.
As President of Winning Edge, Rubenovitch provides strategic direction for the company and actively refines the company’s offerings in anticipation of changing market needs. Rubenovitch’s approach has always been to first gain an understanding of the client’s culture, goals and challenges and then he and his team actively work with the business owner and those that are implicated in the new directions or changes. Clients include winners of: Deloitte Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies, Inc 500 fastest growing private companies, Forbes 25 Fastest Growing Tech Companies, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Entrepreneur magazine 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America,Montreal’s Top 15 Employers, and the Chicago Business Fast 50 award.
Rubenovitch’s career began with IBM in the early 1980s, where he held National Marketing and Sales positions in their midrange division and then joined a Canadian chain of computer resellers. Rubenovitch assisted in building the chain into Canada’s largest network of franchise computer stores. Rubenovitch then managed 140 sales people and grew revenues by over 50% in less than two years. He also successfully established the Canadian presence for one of the largest software-licensing companies in the world.
Rubenovitch lends his expertise as an advisory board member to privately held companies. He has contributed to CNNmoney.com’s Ask the Expert column, in addition to being published and interviewed by other traditional trade publications. Rubenovitch has a Bachelor of Commerce, Cum Laude with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Management from Concordia University. He is a McGill University Advanced Business Management graduate.
